Perl and Cgi for the World Wide Web, by Elizabeth Castro, is the perfect book for the beginner.
I still use it for reference from time to time. This book explains all the basics to Perl
programming in a very easy to read, understandable format. Her examples and illustrations
make Perl fun and easy. If you want to learn how to make Perl scripts, and if you want to
learn how to make your web pages more interactive, you've just gotta have this book. This
